9/3/2000 Vs. Baltimore Ravens In the first game of the season, Ward has two receptions from Kent Graham for 20 yard and a kickoff return for 23 yards. Steelers suffer their first shutout loss at Three River Stadium since 1989. L 0-16
9/17/2000 @ Cleveland Browns Ward makes his first start of the season for the injured Troy Edwards and leads the team with five receptions for 75 yards, including a 31-yard catch from Kent Graham.  Ward nearly breaks off a kickoff return for a TD, recording a 57-yard return. L 20-23
9/24/2000 Vs. Tennessee Titans Ward leads the team with five receptions for 59 yards and also has three kickoff returns for 69 yards, including a long of 31 yards.  He also receives credit for one solo special teams tackle on Lorenzo Neil. L 20-23
10/1/2000 @ Jacksonville Jaguars In their first ever win in Jacksonville, Ward catches two passes from Kordell Stewart for 23 yards, including a long of 15 yards and has one special teams tackle W 24-13
10/8/2000 @ New York Jets Ward has two receptions for 18 yards and a tackle on Kevin Williams. W 20-3
10/15/2000 Vs. Cincinnati Bengals Ward makes a spectacular catch and run for a 77-yard TD on the second play of the game, a play that was the longest pass play by the Steelers since the 1994 season.  He completes the game with two receptions for 91 yards from Kent Graham. W 15-0
10/22/2000 Vs. Cleveland Browns Ward has one reception for five yards and one tackle on Lenzie Jackson for special teams. W 22-0
10/29/2000 @ Baltimore Ravens Ward has another spectacular game for the Steelers, including an outstanding 45-yard TD reception from Kordell Stewart on which he leaped over a Ravens defender and wrestled away the ball as he stepped into the end zone.  Finishes with two receptions for 55 yards. W 9-6
11/5/2000 @ Tennessee Titans Ward has one pass for seven yards and makes a ferocious tackle on Derrick Mason on a kick return when it appeared Mason might go the distance. L 7-9
11/12/2000 vs. Phil. Eagles Ward has two receptions for 22 yards and one special teams assist. L 23-26 in OT
11/19/2000 Vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Ward scores his third TD on a 32-yard reception off Kordell Stewart. Completes game with three receptions for 60 yards and two kickoffs returns for 47 yards, including a 26 yarder. L 24-34
11/26/2000 @ Cincinnati Bengals Ward leads the team with four receptions for 70 yards, including a 34-yard TD.  Has two carries for 38 yards, including a 23-yard reverse. Ward makes the recovery when Neil Rackers kicks onside 12 yards. Throws a key block on Mark Bruener's TD catch. W 48-28
12/3/2000 Vs. Oakland Raiders Ward leads the team for the second consecutive week with four receptions for 36 yards.  Also rushes for 3 yards. W 21-20
12/10/2000 @ New York Giants Ties Bobby Shaw with a team-high six receptions for 64 yards including a long of 21. L 10-30
12/16/2000 Vs. Washington Redskins In the last game ever to be played at Three Rivers Stadium, the Steelers win it with Ward again tying Bobby Shaw with a team-high three receptions totaling 31 yards.  He also rushes for 12 yards on a reverse and is credited with one special teams assist. W 24-3
12/24/2000 @ San Diego Chargers Ward has four receptions for 36 yards. W 34-21
RECAP   In his third year, Ward displays another solid season, leading the team in receptions for the second straight year.  He finishes with 48 receptions for 672 yards and four TD and rushed for 53 yards on four carries. 9-7 Season
